Quest Log is an unofficial, for-profit anthology that features the quests and adventures of Yoo Joonghyuk and Kim Dokja in a fantasy setting. As for what a quest includes? Just about everything! From hunting rare items to create powerful tools, finding the best ingredients in an effort to be the best chef in town, to winning someone's heart by following or not following a guide, anything goes so long as the pair achieves a goal.The anthology is rated mature, which can include intense gore and violence, suggestive/sexual themes, use of strong language, etc.The composition of this anthology is primarily focused on writers with some artists sprinkled here and there within the pages. The word count that writers must hit is a range between 6,000 and 10,000 words.

FAQ

1. What pairings do you allow and not allow?
This anthology accepts all variations of joongdok, e.g., SPOD, SPKDJ, 41KDJ, 999KDJ, gender bent versions of JD, SP/YJH/KDJ (3P), etc. However, this anthology will not accept dokjoong (or where Kim Dokja is not the bottom in the relationship), crossover pairings, or other pairings where Yoo Joonghyuk or Kim Dokja are with anyone else.2. How many contributors will you have?
The intention is to have 10-15 writers and 7-10 artists. Artists may also apply as merch artists, or cover artist.3. Will you be accepting applications and where can I sign up?
Yes, we are accepting applications for all contributor positions (writer, cover artist, page artist, merch artist).Applications have been closed.4. Can I submit a not publicly posted fic that is zine-exclusive and will be posted in the future? It is finished and not a draft.
Yes you can. Please provide a link to the to be posted fic (google docs, google folder, etc.) when following the submission format.5. I want to bring in my own beta. Is this fine?
Yes, so long as your beta reader does not share the contents of your fic publicly prior to distribution of the anthology. However, moderators will still do a brief beta of your piece for grammatical changes.6. When I see the phrase "quest log", I think of games. Does it have to be medieval- or RPG-themed?
No, your pitch can be in any type of setting as long as there is a fantasy element included into the worldbuilding, e.g., modern, cyber, steampunk, royalty, otome game, etc.7. Can artists draw more than one piece?
Artists are given the option to work on more than one piece. Artists are not required to draw more than one piece. This applies to all artist positions.8. What is the current list of possible merch?
The current list of merch includes the following: 3 postcards (A6), 1 sticker sheet (A6), 1 charm, 1 standee. However, this number is dependent on the number of merch artists who are accepted, so this list may change.9. What is the word count that writers have to reach?
The word count that writers must hit is between the range of 6,000 to 10,000 words. Depending on the size of the final contributor list, this range may change and become smaller or larger.10. Where will it be shipped from?
It would be shipped from the USA.11. What is the cost of the anthology?

1. The Quest Log mod team is not responsible for any incorrect or falsely inputted addresses. If the shipment is returned to the mod team, the buyer is responsible for providing shipping again to receive their order.
2. The buyer is liable for any extra fees (e.g., import taxes, VAT fees, etc.) after orders are shipped.
3. The Quest Log mod team is not responsible for any damages, delays, or lost packages caused by couriers. Tracking numbers will be provided for each order, so please be sure to watch your shipment closely.
4. Partial refunds, returns, or exchanges after pre-orders close will only be processed if damages or errors were made by the Quest Log mod team. For returns or exchanges, please provide video proof with your request.
